The Raptor Katana Unokubi-Zukuri (Cormorant's Neck) blade design (also called Nagamaki Naoshi) is patterned after the shape of the Nagamaki, the powerful long-handled sword popular between the 12th and 14th centuries. Notable for the strongly relieved shinogi-ji and diamond-shaped kissaki, the Unokubi-Zukuri Katana provides excellent balance in a strong cutting blade. Please note: the katana, wakizashi or tanto’s sageo (cord) on the saya (scabbard) may not be wrapped as pictured. Sageo color may vary.
