Angus "Gus" Trim
Angus Trim, often called "Atrim" among enthusiasts, is a respected swordsmith and knife maker best known for his craftsmanship of high-performance blades. Using a background in mechanical engineering and his passion for historical weaponry, he creates tools and swords celebrated for their balance, cutting efficiency, and durability.
Trim’s work is highly regarded by collectors, martial artists, practitioners and reenactors for its exceptional quality and functionality. Known for his innovative approach and attention to detail, his designs and influence have had a massive impact on the knife making and bladesmithing community. Trim prefers to use modern tools and techniques to push his swords into the modern age. Gus has graciously chosen to work with CAS in designing his own line of swords and tools. CAS has the honor to produce pieces made to his specifications, and are proud that they now bear his name.
