Based on a museum piece from around 1480, the Swiss Glaive, or Gisarm, is a multi-faceted weapon capable of thrusting, hacking, armour piercing or dismounting riders. With four langets, the weapon was well-protected from sword cuts and very securely mounted to its pole. Supplied as a head only, the overall length is 47 1/2".
