This 18 gauge helmet is fully wearable with foam padding. It features a Gallic style with its red forward-facing crest. Ties secure it down, one at the back and one at the front. Below the front of the crest is a short visor. Between the crest and visor, there are a pair of scrolled details. Meanwhile, the visor helps to deflect blows. A strip of metal forms the visor shape. The helmet covers more of the forehead below the visor. Brass-colored edging lines the bottom of the helmets front. On each side of the helmet, there is a hinged cheek guard to help with protecting the face. There are three brass-colored rivets and raised shapes adorning each cheek guard. Along the back, the Roman general helmet has a plate to help protect the back of the neck. It also has brass-colored rivets. On the inside, the helmet has a padded liner.
CAS Iberia also offers a full line of chainmail, clothing, helmets and weapons which are perfect for the re-enactor.
