This 15th century-style cuirass is fabricated in 16 gauge steel and is built to withstand contact re-enactment. The breastplate, with an integral fauld (to protect the waist and hips), and backplate are joined by adjustable leather straps to fit a range of torso sizes.
Breastplate and backplate both measure 24" across.
