Smooth in the hand and quick in the wrist, the Sturm is a cold weapon with a sharp focus and resilient construction. The 4 1/4” flat ground US CPM 4V steel blade is extremely tough with excellent edge retention and features a trailing point tip and notched spine for thumb placement. The Krayton handle grips soft in your hand. At 9 7/8” overall, the length makes the Sturm a very versatile implement in a tactical situation. The light PA sheath features a rotatable clip on a highly versatile rotatable (SP) platform that can be installed in a number of ways on different areas of the long sheath to make sure the user gets the most comfortable carry option. The sheath is fully MOLLE compatible.
About CPM 4V
Made in the USA by Crucible Industries, CPM 4V is an advanced powder metallurgy tool steel with very high wear resistance and toughness. It is nearly as tough as their legendary 3V with better edge retention. It will take a very keen edge and hold it, and hold it, and hold it... Care must be taken in keeping the blade oiled or waxed as the low amount of Chromium in the mix will allow the blade to tarnish if it's not taken care of. Combining 4V with the flat saber grind on the Sturm you get a very tough knife that will take whatever you can dish at it.
