The Citadel Chantha is a fine knife, and it served me well at hunt camp. It's unobtrusive enough for EDC (everyday carry), opens like a dream, locks like a champ, cleans up well, looks great, and has a superbly-shaped blade for skinning. During chopping, the Ratanakiri’s performance was excellent. Overall, it was very responsive with good, solid penetration. The more power I exerted the greater the result I got, which is not always the case with some knives. Edge retention was good. The Survivalist X had a D2 tools steel large drop point blade with a tip swedge, good thumb gimping and an interesting addition on the spine of a wedge that according to Kizylar Supreme can be used for "Hacking objects" I certainly tested this out and found it was great for exactly that, hacking off dead branches in my way before starting to chop through trees etc. -- Bush Camping Tools
