The full tang handle features a Russian root-wood Walnut as strong as the AUS-8 Stone Wash, stainless steel blade. The choil and finger guard allow for safe and tricky cuts. I've been using my Caspian knife for over one month now from stuff in the kitchen to outdoor work around the campsite I like the lines of this medium sized knife, for me it's more functional than a standard Bowie styled blade.
