Tamahagane / L6 Bainite
Our Tamahagane blades are the most traditionally built blades we offer, they are meticulously handcrafted from start to finish.
Hanwei has now mastered the difficult process of using billets of L-6 tool steel and a careful heat treat process to create a blade with Bainite / Martensite steel structures.
Tachi / Odachi
These blades are patterned after older styles of swords from Japan. The feature intricate mounts and (in the case of the Odachi) much longer than normal blades.
